Service Description
This program is for players who want to further to develop their football skills. Because this is a non-contact football skill training program, all skill levels train well together. Athletes that enter this program should expect to develop the skills necessary to make more plays on the football field. Skills the incoming players can expect to develop during the program are: •Dynamic warmup (for players that are coming to football skills training only and not speed course). •Intro to route running and progressive route running. •Juke and reactive juke development. •Elusive ball carrying for all players. •Throwing and catching development (Every player catches a minimum of 50 balls per session) •Overall footwork development specific for all skill positions. •Intro to man coverage. Players learn the fundamentals for off and press coverage. • QB skill training. A perfect environment for Developing QBs. Not only will QBs participate in the training mentioned above they will be leading the 1x1 throwing period gaining valuable repetitions with offensive skill players against defensive skill players. •1x1’s - Players use what they have learned and compete in route running and coverage against one another. This part of the program is important because it allows the players to compete using skills learned and allows me to provide players with feedback during completion. The 1x1 period will consist of Quarterbacks throwing passes for wide receivers, running backs, and tight ends competing against cornerbacks, safeties, and linebackers. Players with multiple skill sets or players that play multiple positions can get repetitions at any position they play. Players who are considered offensive or defensive linemen by position are encouraged to train with us because this type of training helps unlock more skills for players that play in the trenches. • Sports yoga - we will increase flexibility at the end of every session. When: Saturday, January 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th at 11:00am - 12:00pm Where: Rock Chiropractic Facility Players will need cleats or training shoes, a yoga mat (optional), and water.
