Speed Course (Ages 12-17)

Service Description

This program is for athletes ages 12-17 that want to get faster, increase quickness, improve agility and footwork, and increase flexibility and mobility, and overall functional strength to become superior conditioned and more explosive athletes for their respective sport(s). On the first day that athletes enter the program, they must test into the program by performing Combine testing in the 40-yard dash, 20-yard dash, Pro-Agility shuttle, L-Drill, and Broad jump. The measurements will be kept for our records and shared with the athletes and guardians. Athletes will be retested every 8 weeks to track progress. My goal is to help athletes improve in every category every time we test. The training day layout will consist of the following: Dynamic warmup Running Form and Mechanics Functional Strength training Agility and Footwork drills Plyometrics Resist the movement training (Speed bands, speed sleds, or parachutes) Full Speed Sprints Active Recovery Training Sport Yoga During the program, athletes can also expect to use, agility ladders and cones, jump rope, half-Bosu balls, plyometric boxes, and more. Players will need cleats or training shoes, a yoga mat, and water. When: Saturday, January 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th at 10:00am - 11:00am Where: Rock Chiropractic Facility Players will need cleats or training shoes, a yoga mat (optional), and water.
